Mr. Rausch is a regular guest lecturer at the University of the Pacific, School of Business, presenting to undergraduate and MBA classes on legal topics involving business formation and entity selection, corporate governance and intellectual property issues. He is the author of "Technology in Small Firm Practice," California Lawyer, (Nov. 1997) and occasionally presents continuing education seminars on the topic of law firm technology, automation and practice management.
Peter is trained as a small claims court judge pro tem with the San Joaquin County Superior Court and periodically presides over the Court's small claims calendar since 1998. He also serves on the San Joaquin County Superior Court Judicial Arbitration Panel and conducts arbitrations in the Court's ADR program. Peter has been retained privately by parties to conduct mediations and binding arbitration of civil disputes. In the fall of 2005 and spring 2007, he completed intensive and advanced professional mediation training and offers private mediation services to civil litigants embroiled in complex business and other general civil disputes.
Mr. Rausch has served as a small claims court judge pro tem with the San Joaquin County Superior Court. He also serves on the San Joaquin County Superior Court Judicial Arbitration Panel and conducts mediation through the Court's ADR program. Mr. Rausch also acts as a Court ordered mediator for the California Court of Appeal, Third District, mediation program.
Mr. Rausch is a member of the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Pro Bono Panel providing settlement conference representation to incarcerated plaintiffs in Section 1983 litigation.
Mr. Rausch is a Certified Arbitrator by the San Francisco Bar Association. He conducts private binding arbitration of civil disputes.
